4/5 Shooting Stars
On The Back:
It’s been three years since the devastating accident . . . three years since Mia walked out of Adam’s life forever.
Now living on opposite coasts, Mia is Juilliard’s rising star and Adam is LA tabloid fodder, thanks to his new rock star status and celebrity girlfriend. When Adam gets stuck in New York by himself, chance brings the couple together again, for one last night. As they explore the city that has become Mia’s home, Adam and Mia revisit the past and open their hearts to the future – and each other.
After I finished If I Stay I immediately went out to my library and picked this book up. Though I don’t think that this book quite lived up to the first book, I think that if I wouldn’t have had the first book to compare this one to, this would’ve been a five star rating.
I loved learning more about these characters, this book cleared up some loose ends. However, I felt that Mia’s POV in the first book flowed better than Adam’s in this book.
Overall a very good book that makes me want to hear more about these characters. The first few chapters were rough, transitioning from Mia’s POV in the first book to Adam’s in this book, but the last 8 or so chapters really made this book stand out. I would highly recommend this book and the first one to anyone.
